Backman explores the unique challenge of the EU working to integrate cybersecurity regulatory bodies and standards, highlighting the importance of information security as part of the construct of critical infrastructure.
While progress has been made, nonetheless, information sharing still remains a significant hurdle when it comes to EU member states communicating sensitive cyber security findings. This sheds light on the inherent complexity of coordinating among even like-minded countries to define and respond to cyber-incidents.
